About Trilogy Advising
We started Trilogy Advising because we saw too many bright, talented students lose their way. We watched them get accepted to college (the supposed finish line) only to struggle with the wrong majors, question their career paths, and ultimately spend too much time and money on a journey that lacked a clear destination.This happens because the college decision is often treated as a race for prestige, not as the significant life and financial investment it truly is. There is a lack of strategic rigor in the process, and students are left without the roadmap they need to succeed long-term.Our mission is to change that. We provide the comprehensive support that we saw was missing. We bring the data-driven strategy to the decision-making process to ensure the investment is sound, and we provide the developmental guidance to help students build the clarity, skills, and mindset they need to thrive in college and in their future careers. Meet The Founders
Trilogy Advising was founded by brothers Trent and Cole. They believe that true success is built on a foundation of holistic development and combine their expertise in strategy and performance to guide students through the complexities of academic, athletic, and professional life.
Trent: Strategic & Academic Development
Trent earned his Master's in Applied Psychology from USC to combine his background in executive compensation consulting with human development. He provides the strategic rigor to make the college choice a smart investment and the developmental guidance grounded in applied psychology to ensure each student is prepared for their experience.Trent's background as a competitive golfer informs his coaching philosophy. He understands that success in any high-stakes environment requires a combination of disciplined strategy and mental resilience. He is passionate about helping students develop this performance mindset to navigate the pressures of admissions and achieve their long-term goals.
Cole: Athletic & Performance Development
Cole leads Trilogy Advising's athlete development pillar. As a former Division 1 lacrosse player, he has firsthand experience with the immense pressures facing student-athletes and knows what it takes to succeed at the highest levels.His background as a Certified Personal Trainer, combined with his pursuit of a Doctorate in Chiropractic, provides a deep understanding of the physical, wellness, and recovery components of elite performance. Cole specializes in teaching the practical, day-to-day systems, from time management to healthy habits, that allow students to manage their demanding schedules and unlock their full potential.
